[ Courtesy Visit to WAMY Malaysia Office: Strengthening Youth Ecosystem & Chinese Muslim Community Development ]

It was truly an honour for the Chinese Muslim Chamber of Commerce (CMCC) to pay a courtesy visit to the office of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) Malaysia Office in Kajang.

The visit was joined together with the President of Welfare Association of International Investor Malaysia (WAIIM), Imam Mai, as well as representatives from Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia, Sheikh Abu Haris, and Dr Isa from WAMY Headquarters in Riyadh.

The discussion centered around the current dynamics of youth movement and youth development work in Malaysia, particularly within the Chinese Muslim community. We exchanged insights on the challenges, opportunities, ecosystem gaps, and the importance of building structured support systems for the younger generation.

Among the key areas discussed were:

Youth identity & belonging

Community ecosystem building

Leadership cultivation

Strategic networking & mentorship

The need for multi-stakeholder collaboration in empowering Chinese Muslim youth in Malaysia

We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality and meaningful exchange of perspectives. May this visit become the beginning of a fruitful collaboration and a stronger bridge between organisations working towards the betterment of the Ummah.
