Our Story: How and Why CMCC Was Formed

The Chinese Muslim Chamber of Commerce (CMCC) was born from a deep reflection on identity, unity, and empowerment. For decades, Chinese Muslims in Malaysia have lived at the intersection of faith and culture — a bridge between two rich heritages, yet often without a collective platform to express both with confidence and pride.

CMCC was established to fill that gap — to unite Chinese Muslim entrepreneurs, professionals, and changemakers under one roof, guided by the principles of ihsan (excellence), ukhuwwah (brotherhood), and amanah (trust). We believe that true empowerment begins when we embrace our dual identity — as Muslims devoted to faith, and as Chinese rooted in culture — and translate that harmony into meaningful contributions for society.

Through business collaboration, community development, and shared learning, CMCC strives to nurture a generation of Chinese Muslims who are confident in their identity, connected in purpose, and committed to uplifting the ummah and the nation together.
