CMCC Youth Reading Circle – UM

[ Youth Engagement @ University of Malaya (UM) for Youth Reading Circle ]

CMCC Youth Wing is honoured to support a growing reading circle among Chinese Muslim students in University of Malaya — a simple yet meaningful initiative rooted in knowledge, reflection, and companionship.

Together, the students have embarked on a structured journey:

Qur’an Guided Reading — one page a day

New Muslim Guide*— weekly reflections

Qur’an recitation practice — learning together

Amidst academic commitments, this circle offers something deeper:

A space to pause

A rhythm to grow

A community to journey together

What makes this initiative special is not intensity, but consistency —

where even a small page, a short reflection, or simply showing up becomes part of a larger transformation.

As shared by the students: “This is not an academic task, but a journey of the heart.”

We believe:

Knowledge builds clarity;

Consistency builds character; and

Companionship sustains the journey

CMCC Youth Wing looks forward to supporting more youth-led initiatives like this — where students grow not only in knowledge, but in identity, purpose, and faith.

May Allah grant barakah in this journey, strengthen their istiqamah, and make this circle a source of light and guidance, Ameen
